You have come home exhausted by a hard working day or everyday concerns that fall and fall on your shoulders…you have switched on the computer and it is not strange at all that you have entered something concerning holiday in the net, something that would carry you away from everyday concerns, from fuss…and now you are reading this – I can tell at once that you have not been mistaken. Almost everything you need will be here…
So…make yourself comfortable, switch on your fantasy not a little bit, but at full capacity and let’s go to the place, where the word “romanticism” came into being, where there are sand beaches, silken sand caresses the skin, waves lap somewhere near, at your legs, the breeze freshens your face directed to the sun that gives out warmth tenderly, where there is the bright tropical vegetation, which strikes the eye with rich, almost unreal colours, where exotic fruit and new food stir your gustatory receptors…This is not my dream, it really exists – these are the Seychelle Islands!
Really, if the paradise exists, it is right here: nobody hurries anywhere here, crabs stroll along the roads in this place, huge tortoises live here, flying fishes jump out of water, yellow coconuts hang on the palms; there are amazing beauty and striking quiet.
The Seychelle Islands are enveloped by the bright tropical vegetation, are washed by warm waters of the Indian Ocean. Palms that recline over the shore with soft sand and ocean shells right under your feet – all these are the Seychelles – an archipelago in the Indian Ocean, which consists of 115 large and small islands with primeval nature that are situated somewhat to the south of the equator and to the north of Madagascar island,
Each island of the fabulous archipelago is beautiful and possesses something really unique. I suggest plunging in some of the best-known ones.

Mahe island.
It can be considered the capital island of the Seychelles with the main city of Victoria. You won’t have to choose the trivial sightseeing, as you won’t find anything special there, except for the asphalt-paved road, street clock in the form of Big Ben and the lonely traffic lights. The trip to the market will occur in a much more interesting way and with a lot of impressions: you will hardly be able to classify the fish that will appear to your eyes, fruit, vegetables and something like the salon with the local art. But this local art is rather confined to putting shells together in beads and drawn landscapes. And it is right, as it is much more important to absorb all this beauty in you alive, to enjoy every cell of this primeval paradise on the Earth.

A bungalow with the veranda, over which the crowns of coconut palms situated almost on the beach hang, will help to absorb and become oblivious, “to vanish” from the world having obtained a truly paradisiacal delight; by the way, it was one of the Seychelle Islands - La Digue – where “Bounty” commercial and the movie about Emmanuelle were shot. There are almost no people; sand is like white coral dust, like from hourglass and there is the noise of the waves that helps to relax.

Speaking of the waves! If you are sick of the noise of the waves and you would like to have quiet and smooth surface of the Blue Lagoon, then it is quite real, as there are the noisy playing waves in one part of the island; there are peace and quiet in the other part. The Seychelle Islands are simply a fount of natural science, a living museum, where one can see a great variety of flora and fauna with the rare and sometimes unique specimens in the world. Thus, Praslin Island, to which, by the way, one can fly in about 15 minutes or get to it in a couple of hours by water, is famous for its representatives of longevity – the giant tortoises that can live up to 300 years, and where the local attraction, the coco-de-mer coconut palm, the fruit of which resemble the form of the bottom or female breeding organs, grows, and it grows only in Praslin! It is amusing, but the inhabitants of the Seychelles hadn’t thought over long, when they made this palm the symbol of the archipelago.

Coral reefs attract to their underwater world with the impressive flowers and colourfulness of the fish never seen before. By the way, the outfit for the underwater swimming is available for lease on any of the islands. One shouldn’t be afraid of sharks – they are small, the big ones swim very far, as they prefer chillier water.

Marked politeness and striking benevolence are peculiar to the Creoles, the inhabitants of the Seychelles. This is the folk that makes everything for its comfort. The same thing concerns the Creole language – it is French that is written and pronounced the same, and there are no muddles.

Fried bananas in caramel treacle, various fish, stewed fruit of breadfruit tree (by the way, they are used as a substitute for potatoes), palmiste salad made of the palm pith and the salad made of mango with salt, Creole tunny with spice sauce, crabs…and generally diverse seafood are among the things, with which you should pamper your stomach, and as for the drinks, it is a refreshing drink made of bergamot mint.

Why was it written that this is ALMOST everything you need? Because you’d better not read about the Seychelle Islands, you’d better visit this paradisiacal place at least once in your life!

Thus, summing up everything told, which, as I hope, has relieved you of stress and tiredness of the day at least a little bit, it is possible to single out several reasons for yourself, why it is simply impossible not to visit this place at least once:
-Mild climate, without considerable temperature fluctuations during the year, where it is not too hot and not too cold (hot months – average temperature +29 degrees, in relatively cool month – about 25 degrees);
-It is not necessary to make visa specially. It is made on arrival, right at the airport;
-Flora and fauna of a unique beauty;
-Kilometres of deserted, most beautiful beaches!
-Diving (there is a group of islands, which really specializes in it) and fishing;
-There is no malaria; there are no dangerous animals and insects;
-The Creoles’ charm and their friendliness;
-Paradise on the Earth!

If you decide to run away from the civilization, which has tired you, for a while – it is time to hit the road…on the traces of Emmanuelle…
