Paris is the Europeans' favorite city |
The "Reader's Digest" magazine questioned 4 thousand people in 19 countries of the United Europe in order to know the opinion of the respondents about their neighbors in the EU and also to determine the favorite city of Europe. The indisputable winner became Paris (25%), it was followed by London and Rome (13% each), Prague and Barcelona (6% each). The Europeans mostly like the Italians for their sexuality, the British are liked for humor, the Dutch - for tolerance. As the most "unloved" nation were considered the Germans: it was the opinion of 22% of questioned people.
The dwellers of Germany are considered to be unfriendly although the most businesslike people. The majority of the Europeans think the jokes of the British are funny: 30% of the questioned people consider that the British have a good humor. The Italians take the second place according to this nomination (15%). Great Britain leads in one more field: 28% consider that the earning of the British are the biggest.
According to the questioning, the most desired country for living is Italy. Spain is on the second place and is followed by France. Poland, Russia, Hungary and Slovakia close the list of "the most desired countries". |
