" The palace of toilets " can be named what has appeared recently in China and has made happy huge quantity of local residents. Not any closed booth with a pungent smell, but the magnificent complex from 1000 public toilets were constructed by creative Chinese under the order of the government.

The huge complex was placed in the city of Chungking in the street Yangrenjie, known also as " street of foreigners ". In the territory of 2800 square meters stretches the beautiful four-storeyed building with a facade in the Egyptian style . Inside, the "palace" is divided into a set various booths, in each of which, according to authors of the project, visitors can take spend time with pleasure, even if not for a very long time.

" We distribute toilet culture. People can listen to pleasant music or watch TV. After visiting these lavatories they will be very, very happy ", - says local official Lu Ksjaotsin.

Except for indisputable comfort and hardware, authors of the project of " the toilet palace " have awarded their creation with an original design. So, some urinals are executed in an unusual form, for example, in the form of the crocodile head with opened sharp-toothed jaws, and from above of some toilet bowls hangs a bust of a woman reminding a lot Virgin Maria. Bowls in the institution also have an unusual appearance, and for the fans of "rest" on fresh air are available even some booths in open-air.

The magnificent complex of lavatories became the first-ever similar project. Authorities of the city of Chungking are going to submit the application on its entering into the Book of Guiness records as, in their opinion, it is the biggest complex of public toilets in the world.
