The amount of the foreign tourists that have visited Antigua and Barbuda has grown by 11%. Antigua and Barbuda have all the opportunities for a tropical island vacation. At first – it is the huge amount of beaches with golden sand and comfortable hotels. Double island state, located in the eastern part of the Caribbean has been visited in January by about 25 119 foreign tourists, what is by 11,4% more than in the same period of the last year, when this island group of the Antilles has been visited by 22 601 tourists..

From the whole amount of tourists the first place takes England, which amount made up 11 046 tourists. Of course, France and Germany are comprising a great part of the touristic income of Antigua and Barbuda, what cannot be said about Italy, which indicators have decreased slightly. The major part of the income of the countries of the Caribbean comprises the entertainment industry that attracts tourists from the whole world.

Statistics tells us that in 2008 the increase of the tourists' amount coming to Antigua and Barbuda made up 4,46%. Antigua is acknowledged as the most attractive place for tourists, because the island has 365 beaches with clear coastal waters. The colonial atmosphere of the island that has been discovered by the Columbus, is enriched by the ancient architecture.
Comfortable modern hotels built on Antigua offer their clients the high level of service and the entertainment malls, casinos and clubs won't let the tourists get bored. On the neighboring island Barbuda that is located 40 kilometers to the west from Antigua the tourists can take a walk to watch the frigate-birds. Usually the lovers of exotic and yachtsmen are visiting these places, who are attracted by local calm and clean waters.
