After having burnt some nerve cells in the stock games, the richest people of the planet go cruising to restore their nerve system. The demand for the trips of the super-luxury class constantly grows.

The most expensive cruise today is the trip to the South Pole, to the shores of Antarctic. The pleasure to watch penguins is expensive not only because the trip to Antarctic is a long one, but also because the local touristic season is very short. Thus, the tickets to the Minerva ship sailing to the shores of Antarctic on the 14-th of January 2009 will cost $954 for a night for a person and twice more for the personal luxury suite.

Nowadays highly appraised are the tours along Amazon river, Norway fjords, in the Black, Mediterranean and Baltic Seas. The Baltic sea is also very popular among the tourists because the touristic season is also very short here.

In spite of the high prices for the stay in a luxury suite of a sea liner, this is appreciated by the travelers much more than a rest in a 5-star hotel.

For $1,1 per night you could spend a week sailing between Istanbul and Athens onboard of the SeaDream I yacht for 110 persons in June and August of this year. Slightly more accessible seems to be the trip from Barcelona to Rome onboard of the Silver Whisper sea liner for 382 persons in August that will cost only $650 per person per night including bar.

Sea cruises for a week are ideal for the top-managers that usually have always lack of free time.

Another expensive pleasure is to be the "first representatives of the Western civilization". The travelers pay huge amount of money to see the exotic Asian ports of Vietnam, Cambodia, China, Japan and to enjoy the local environment.

The tour operators have pretty good chances to earn at such promising directions like Bhutan, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Indian state Sikkim and Tibet. Currently for most of the Western tourists the sea gates of such countries like Albania, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Macedonia are quire new.

The trans-Atlantic cruises from Europe to America "after Titanic" are still very popular.
The passengers of the world largest ocean liner Queen Mary 2 will have to spend at least $757 for a night in the simplest cabin. And in the last year the touristic companies have offered probably the most extreme tours - among the African rivers. A yacht for 34 persons has been sailing in Senegal and Gambia for two weeks.

The tourists that have managed to stand out the local kiddies and mosquitoes, had the possibility to sail the African pirogues and fly the helicopters. For these pleasures they have paid starting from $845 per day.
