The three best floating hotels are hotels turned into "botels" - formed from "boat" and "hotel". They give a possibility to have a rest "in the sea", not on the shore.
1. The LogInn Hotel, Stockholm, Sweden
The LogInn botel in the Baltic Sea is created from a reconstructed old ship. The guests are offered cozy suites, modern, but having kept the charm of the last century. There are suite variations for families with children and for friend companies. Rich breakfasts are offered in the Ankarhaket restaurant of the LogInn botel. The prices for the suites begin from 88 euro per night.
2. Botel Ristorante Matylda, Prague, Czech Republic
Botel Ristorante Matylda sails along the river Vltava, reconstructed from a gorgeous old tugboat. The guests that come to hide from the daily fuzz are attracted not only by the 7 cozy suites with the view to Vltava and Prague City, but also by the restaurant with exclusive cuisine and wines. The prices start from 99 euro per night.
3. Botel Fortuna, Budapest, Hungary
Built in 1967, Botel Fortuna offers it's guests a unique scenery and a long history. Before the reconstruction in 1992 it was a cruise sea liner that has been transporting tourists along the Danube.
