Sydney - is one of the large cities, where the inhabitants consider it the most comfortable, clean and charming place for living. Such conclusion has been made after a global inquiry about the tendencies of the city lifestyle that has been held in 14 cities among 8,5 thousands of people and 630 of these were the citizens of Sydney.

The poll has revealed that those who live in places with less density of population and closer to the nature - are more optimistic and are less stressed.

The sociological company Veolia has investigated the attitude of the people to the city they live in. The interview has been performed with the citizens of Alexandria in Egypt, Peking, Berlin, Chicago, London, Los Angeles, Lyon (France), Mexico, New York, Paris, Shanghai, Sydney, Prague and Tokyo.

Chicago and Los Angeles have taken the second and third place in the rating of the most pleasant and comfortable places for living.

The representative of the company has told that Sydney is a very clean city that is why it is so beloved by the citizens. Also, the locals have reported that they are glad with their living conditions, location and district. In particular, they have paid attention to the great amount of the cultural and entertainment programs that take place in the city. Besides, the respondents have linked Sydney with the word "happiness".

So, Mexico became the "frightening" city. It's citizens have reported the negative emotions about the security and urbanization. And Tokyo was considered to be "cold" - it's advantages have been appreciated, but it lacks for hospitality.
