How the tourists spend their money |
The chase for the bright emotions and impressions is the main part of the travelers' budget. This is confirmed by the results of the research of the touristic audience, when 5 916 people have answered the question: "For what do you spend money during your trips?"
36% of the tourists have answered that the biggest part of the funds, dedicated for the travel goes to the excursions and other activities of the cognitive type. The tourists are ready to spend their money to obtain bright reminiscences.
The second place in the list of the popular expenses is the entertainment. 27% of the tourists prefer to spend money at the entertainment establishments and active night life.
24,9% of the holiday-makers spend their money for shopping and souvenirs. Women have chosen this option 3,6 times more often that the men. As we know, the female travelers are not only subject to shopping-mania, but also, as the rule, exactly women have a long list of relatives and friends that should get souvenirs from the distant countries.
For some people a travel to a foreign country is an opportunity to get acquainted with the unknown culture, and one of the most interesting parts of it is the national cuisine. 9,4% of the respondents appear to be gourmands, because the most part of their funds during the trip they spend for the meals. However, during the visits to Turkey and Egypt, the most attractive system for the tourist is the so-called "All Inclusive", that offers them a possibility to forget about the money at least at the territory of the hotel.
Instead of the usual excursions, many enthusiasts prefer to rent a car or buy tickets for the travel inside of the country and to explore the local sights on their own. 2,8% of the tourists, among which the majority consists of youth in the age of 20-25 have answered that the greatest part of the finances during the trip goes to transportation.
No matter which expenses you are planning during your next holiday, is it an interesting excursion, a trip in a rented car or the magnificent delicatessen, there is one advice: do not refuse the well-earned pleasure. The money exists just to spend it, and during the trip we get a special pleasure from this process. |
