According to the research held by the TNT Magazine Travel Show, an iPod is the item of the first necessity for the walking travelers.

The representatives of the edition have asked the travelers and came to a conclusion that 32% of the people would surely take iPod with them. The cellphone took the second place and only 2% (!) of the respondents told that the first aid box is necessary in an on-foot travel.

Here is the full list of the items that the tourists would take with them:


  • iPod/MP3 player - 32%
  • cellphone - 19%
  • book - 14%
  • toothbrush - 12%
  • a spare couple of socks - 6%
  • deodorant - 5%
  • sun protection creme - 3%
  • earplugs - 3%
  • first aid box - 2%
  • raincoat - 1%
