A passenger plane pilot has missed the landing in a sleep

The American airline Go!airlines has fired one of their pilots and his assistant, when the unlucky employees have got asleep during a short flight between Hawaii, and flew 24 kilometers away from the airport. During the 30-minutes flight from Honolulu at the Oahu island, to the Hilo at the Big Island, performed by the passenger plane of the Go!airlines company from Arizona, offering the low-cost tickets, even a half of the passengers didn't fall asleep. But the pilot and his assistant have decided to take a sleep break and have put the plane to autopilot at the 6,3 thousands altitude above the Pacific.

At the moment when the airplane should have lowered his speed, the ground air control dispatchers have noticed that the machine continues to fly at the same speed and they began to call to the pilot cabin. Eleven attempts of the collaboratives of the ground control to reach the sleeping pilots have failed and already at the 32-th minute of the flight they managed to reach the pilot assistant that has answered the question about the emergency situation with an "Everything is okay".

After several minutes, the airplane has successfully landed in the airport. The incident has been noticed by the Federal Aviation Department of the USA that has requested the details of the incident from the Go!airlines. The representatives of the airline refuse to give any comments. The collaboratives that have been fired at the same time - are already involved in a corresponding criminal case.
