The most healthy countries of the world

The Forbes Magazine has composed the list of the most healthy countries is based upon the data of the World Health Organization, the World Bank and UNO.

The inclusion criteria were the low air pollution level in the big cities of the countries; high percentage of the population having access to the clean potable water and good sanitary conditions; low children death-rate level; low level of the tuberculosis expansion rate; high physician density per 1000 of people; longevity among men.

1. Iceland. A very high longevity has been noticed in this country - 72 years among men and 74 among women, low child death-rate level (2 per each 1000 of the births) and tuberculosis cases (2,2 per 100000 people) and also a high pphysician density (3,62 per 1000 of citizens).

2. Sweden. Low children death-rate is registered in this country (3 for each 1000 births) and tuberculosis cases (4 per 100000 people).

3. Finland. Low level of child death-rate (3 deaths per 1000 infants) and tuberculosis (4,8 cases per 100000 persons).

4. Germany. This country spends 10,6% of the annual gross income for the health. Besides, the air pollution level is quite low there.

5. Switzerland. The high longevity level is registered here - 71 years among men and 75 years among women and also the high physicians density - 3,61 per 1000.

6. Australia. The country has a very low air pollution level, but a high risk to suffer from tuberculosis: 5,9 cases per 100000 people.

7. Denmark. The normal longevity is registered there - 69 years for men and 71 years for women, but the physician density per 1000 people is one of the lowest in the list - 2,93.

8. Canada. The country has one of the highest longevity levels and one of the lowest tuberculosis risks (3,6 cases per 100000).

9. Austria. The low child death-rate level (4 per 1000 of births) and a high physician density in the population (3,38 per 1000 of people) are noticed here.

10. The Netherlands. The high air, water and soil pollution level is registered here. Though, the tuberculosis risk makes only 5,4 cases per 100000 people.

11. USA. A relatively low air pollution level is registered in this country, one of the lowest tuberculosis risks, a low child death-rate and a high longevity level.

12. Israel. High physician density in this country - 3,37 per 1000, a normal longevity level - 70 among men and 72 among women, but the air pollution level should be still improved.

13. Czech Republic. In 2007 the children death-rate made only 3 per 1000 births. But the country has a low longevity level (66 years among men and 71 years among women) and 10,8 tuberculosis cases per 100000 of inhabitants.

14. Spain. Normal Physician density, longevity and children death-rate are registered in this country, but every 100000 of people has 21,7 tuberculosis cases.

15. France. The high physician density here - 3,37 per 1000 and a low air pollution level. Though a quite high tuberculosis risk there - 11 cases per 100000 of people.
