Here is the list of the most unsuitable places for a holiday on the Earth. It includes 10 cities that are less suitable for the tourists, seeking for comfort and safety.

The first one in the list is the Port Moresby, the capital of Papua New Guinea. The bad reputation of this city consists of the AIDS epidemic. Each month there are more than 115 new infected people.

Besides, in the city, which population is getting uncontrolled larger, grows also the unemployment and the incomes of the citizens fall down. There operate also well-armed gangs that rob the banks and steal vehicles.

The touristic anti-rating includes also the Russian Yakutsk - and this is because of the severe climatic conditions (the winter temperature is often lower than minus 50 Celsius) and the distant location. Located in 6 hours of timezone shift from Moscow and officially considered as the coldest place on Earth, this city got it's firm eighth position in the rating.

The Chinese Linfen, located at the third position is unsuitable for a holiday because of the bad ecology. It is located in the very heart of Chinese coal industrial sector and is considered the most polluted city on Earth. There is always a cloud of smog over the city and it is dark there even at midday. The same reason (high air pollution level) has put the Bangladesh capital - Dhaka among the members of the list.

The Ukrainian Chernobyl will probably also not be able to meet holiday-makers for a long time. In 1986 there was the most horrible technological catastrophe of the modern times and as the result - huge territory became polluted with radiation and is not more suitable for living.

The rating mentions also the United States. Oklahoma-City, located in the so-called "Tornado alley" becomes more times during the year a victim of the destructive tornadoes. It is more dangerous there in spring and in summer.

Corruption is the main reason to restrain from the visit to Bujumbura - the capital of Burundi - the poorest state in the world.

One of the worst holiday places is also the capital of the North Korea - Pyongyang. Though at the first sight, this city does not look very different from any other city in any western country, but everything there, beginning from the mass-media and ending up with the transport - is strictly controlled by the authorities.
