The journalists have visited Africa, Indian ocean, Asia, Australia and the Middle East to find the best beaches in the world. This list is the result of their hard work that could only be completed with the best European resorts.

Africa and Indian ocean
Cabo Verde Republic, Santa-Monica beach. 60 kilometers of snow-white sand, the emerald green mirror of the ocean, minimum of tourists. This is probably the best beach of this direction.

Egypt, Lagoon, Dahab resort. The natural lagoon in the Red sea is stretched for several dozens of kilometers to the north from Sharm el Sheikh between the desert and Sinai mountains. The endless line of the golden beaches that are ideal for the wind-surfers. Unlike the multiple neighboring newly-erected buildings, bohemian life is a custom here, with small amount of cafes in the Bedouin style.

Kenya, Lamu beach. The 12 kilometer half moon formed beach is a rare possibility to enjoy the virgin beauties of the Indian ocean coast. At the appearance of a man, the frightened transparent pink crabs rush into the sea from the shore.

Madagascar, Isle O-Nutts. If you want to get some rest from the civilization, get headed to this small island not far away from the Madagascar coast. There are no roads and cars here, but only several quiet restaurants and lots of gorgeous beaches.

Maldives, Huvafen Fushi. The wealthy tourists can take private apartments with private beach that is a perfect confluence of white sand and crystal clear water. You can watch the tropical fished for hours here. It is astronomically expensive pleasure.

Mauritius, Saint Geran. Lots of pleasure and fun on the water for the children. Pedal ships with glass bottom, windsurfing, water ski, underwater swimming. And also an Alain Ducasse restaurant and hydro therapeutic spa.

Morocco, Oualidia. Another paradise for the surfers. Natural lagoon, protected from the winds of Atlantic by the huge rocks. Lots of perfect restaurants with sea cuisine.

Mozambique, National Park Kurimbas. A gorgeous beach is located among the palm trees. The turquoise surface of the Indian ocean hypnotizes and does not leave you.

Seychelles, Fregate Island, Anse Victorin beach. Gorgeous sand that crunches under the feet. There are only 16 villas on the island, so this resort is never overcrowded.

SAR, Capetown, Noordhoek beach. It is located at the shore of the stormy Atlantic ocean and is well known for it's powerful waves, so it cannot be really called a bathing beach. But it's length is 6 kilometers and it is ideal for riding on the waves.

Tansania, Mnemba island. A tiny island with a wonderful pine forest can really compete with the other coral reef islands. It is surrounded with coral reefs and the green turtles that are listed in the Red Book lay their eggs here.

Tunis, Djerba island. An astonishing beach with the 120 kilometer coast line. They say that even Odyssey has been here. Lots of palm trees and olive gardens - almost the same weather in winter and in summer.

Zanzibar, Nungwi. The most beautiful beach in the country - dazzling white and with such a clear blue water that it seems to be fluorescent at first sight. There are not so many hotels here, so crowds of tourists are excluded.

Middle East
Abu Dhabi, Emirates Palace beach. This resort with the cost of one billion dollars is a real monument of richness and splendor. Private beaches with the length of 1,6 kilometers are ready for the guests. Water in the Persian Gulf is warm as milk. THere are more than 200 abandoned islands near the coast, where you could arrange a picnic or just take a walk.

Dubai, Al Mamzar. As almost everything around here, this beach is a creation of the mankind. There are lots of recreation zones, verdure, cold places in the middle of a hot day, five beaches and rescue service. National music sound often there, what probably could be disliked by some people.

Oman, Shell beach. More than 1,6 kilometers of the coastal line from the Musamdam peninsula in the north, till the Yemen border in the south. Oman offers astonishing real coral reefs to the guests - best reefs outside Australia.

Asia
Andaman islands, Long Island. One of the few tropical islands that offers real adventures in the Robinson Crusoe style. There are no hotels here - the travelers should take everything with them and to set up a camp in the woods. Untouched coral reefs and gorgeous beaches.

India, Goa, Arambol beach. This wonderful place has evaded commercialization, unlike the nearest locations. You could walk several kilometers along the beach and do not meet a single person. And the dolphins will be swimming not far away from you in the ocean.

Indonesia, Bali, Seminyak. Probably not the most beautiful beach at the island, but surely the coolest one. Each night it is filled up with glamorous crowds that drink cocktails in the Ku De Ta bar, dance and watch the fire sun disc diving into the mirror-surface of the Indian ocean.

Malaysia, Pangkor Laut, Emerald bay. Rocky cliffs and palms, white sands and emerald water. Best place in Asia to get some rest from people - there is a minimum of tourists around here.

Philippines, Malapascua island, Bounty beach. The best among the thousands of other beaches on the Philippines. Exotic diving among the corrals with an opportunity to watch fox sharks (threshers) and sea devils.

Thaliand, Maya Bay. Exactly here has been filmed "The Beach" movie with Leonardo di Caprio. Paradise for divers and lovers of underwater life. Winged fishes, morays, barracudas and sea snakes are waiting for you.

Vietnam, Phu Quoc island, Long Beach. Snow-white beaches with tropical gardens and mountains in the back scenery. Coconut palms are waving slowly under the wind. Exactly like this looked the most of the Asian beaches till the civilization got there.

Sri Lanka, Unavatuna. Another ideal place for diving. There are lots of diving schools also here. Picturesque tropical lagoon, ocean waves, softened by the natural breakwater. It perfectly suits for a holiday with kids.

Australia
Whitsunday, Whiteheaven beach. The heart of the Great Barrier Reef of the Green continent. Six kilometers of the cleanest white sand, dolphins, diving. Not a single building does not spoil the beauty of the virgin nature. It is better to come here with boats from the nearest inhabited island Hamilton.

Cook Islands, Tapuaetai. A tiny coral atoll, consisting from 21 sand islands, surrounded with crystal clear water and located in 20 minutes from the continent. The best thing you can do here is just lay down and stare into the sky. Or dive with an aqualung.

French Polynesia, Rangiroa, Tikehau island. An oval-formed atoll, located in 8 kilometers from Rangiroa island. Jacques Yves Cousteau has named Tikehau the most precious atoll on Earth. Ideal place for underwater excursions.

Fiji, Yasawa islands. A group of six main islands and lots of small atolls. Coconut and banana forests, astonishing beaches and rocky mountains up to 600 meters above the sea level.

New Zealand, Abel Tasman national park. There were time when the local Maori aborigines have eaten white people at supper, but now they meet tourists much more hospitable. Beside the gorgeous beaches and forests, here is located one of the best world sanatoriums with mineral waters. There is also a special sea cruise that includes swimming with fur seals.

Tasmania, Wineglass Bay. It is quite hard to get here on feet, but much easier with a boat. Lots of birds, luxury beaches, clear water. The virginity of the nature just changes your state of mind - you want to love everybody and to do only good to the others.
