The USA air transport system experiences a crisis, that makes the passengers to restrain from the flights. As the result, the carriers, touristic industry and the USA federal budget have lost 26 billion dollars for the single year.

The USA Travel Industry Association has religiously calculated all the lost incomes that were based upon the unwillingness of the Americans to use the planes. These figures have been published in the special report of the association that has recently been published in the USA.

According to the research, about 41 million flight denials have been registered in the USA for the last 12 months. And as the result, the airlines have lost nine billion dollars, hotels have lost about six billion dollars, the restaurants - more than three billion and the federal and local budgets have lost more than four billion dollars taxes.

"The crisis of the air travel has reached it's critical point - more than 100 thousands of travelers daily vote with their purses, making their choice not in favor of a flight.",- said the president of the Travel Industry Association Roger Dow.

The main complaints of the Americans to the air transport are about the flights cancellations, bad quality of the pre-flight inspection and flight delays. Probably, only the security level during the flights is not an issue for the irritation of the USA citizens.

The Travel Industry Association gathers an emergency meeting of the touristic companies directors in Washington. Dow says that the problems of the branch should become a sign for the politics that shows that it is already time for the reform of the whole aviation system.
