Giza pyramids (Cairo, Egypt)
The pyramids impress indeed - up till the end of the 19th century they remained the highest structures in the world. Besides, this is the only thing from seven miracles of the world, existing until now. It was said that "everything is afraid of time, but time is afraid of pyramids", but the effect of their grandeur is spoilt by the shuttle cocking everywhere dealers who do not allow to the poor tourist to make just a step. So, it is impossible to admire the creation of the Old Egyptian masters in a quiet atmosphere.
The Pisa Tower (Pisa, Italy)
One of the symbols of Italy, duplicated on a great number of cards and posters. Really, the tower stands in the leaning position and it is surprising. The tourists who take the same pictures always crowd around it - as they ostensibly prop up the tower.
The Forbidden City (Beijing, China)
The former place of dwelling of the Chinese emperors became a popular tourist sight. Now here even a cafe is opened though earlier the coffee house Starbucks had to move from here. Before the Olympic Games the quantity of tourists will only increase.
The San-Marco square (Venice, Italy)
Venice is not such a big city. Therefore sometimes it seems that all its inhabitants and tourists gather exclusively on this square which periodically is flooded. Certainly, it is beautiful, but nevertheless it is much more interesting to wander along the narrow side streets where there are neither souvenir stores nor the most expensive restaurants.
Notre Dame de Paris (Paris, France)
Once it was a modest cathedral on one of the Seine islands. Today it is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture - one of the most famous places in the world and the most visited sight of France (12 million persons per year!). So, you will by all means have some neighbours on a photo near the tower.

Annually crowds of Americans celebrate New Year's Day at this square. But during the other time the Times Square is not empty too. The figure - 35 million visitors per one year – makes the square the most visited place of the country. Nevertheless, New York is too big and interesting city to be limited only by its one sight.
Capri (Italy)
Capri is a dream of all amateurs of the island rest in the Mediterranean. It is already chosen by many stars. So, those who search the silence and quiet should go to the other place, for example to Isqui, situated nearby.
Miconos (Greece)
The amateurs of club and water ski come to Miconos. Its popularity began in 1950-s. So, now there are always a lot of holiday-makers here, having rest, though the neighbouring Delos which is usually empty, isn’t worse.
Sultanahmet (Istanbul, Turkey)
This small part of Istanbul is always crowded with people. Namely here the basic sights of this 11-million city are concentrated. It also means that the prices here are much higher than in other areas.

Every celebrity dreams to receive the nominal star on this avenue, and the inhabitants are content with the examining the hand imprints of their idols and plates with their names. In general, Hollywood is something with what Los Angeles associates, though there are museums, picturesque landscapes and many other things in the city.

The fountain Тrevy appears almost in each film or plot concerning Rome. Namely here tourists throw coins in water in order to return. It is said, every day 1500 Euro are left in the fountain.

Piccadilly (London, the Great Britain)
Piccadilly hasn’t been changing for already some decades and the love of tourists from all over the world towards this place also remains constant. In general, London became very popular among tourists and it is more and more difficult to find some new, not hackneyed places in it. However, there are some oases of silence and rest even in the centre of the British capital.
