Unsure where to spend your vacation? Sun beaches are already boring? Head to one of the most beautiful places of the world - Norway fjords. Just imagine: deep bays that cut into the land and getting lost among the upright rocks, snowy peaks of the mountains, wild green of the forests and foamy waterfalls that run down the slopes. Here the viking and trolls legends come true and you forget about everything and spend your time with the virgin nature.

Gate to the fjord kingdom
You can't tell in words all the beauty of the Norway fjords that are surrounded with great mountains and green slopes, exactly so impossible as to count these emerald tentacles that spread into the continent. There are thousands of these in Norway and each of them is unique. Fjords are an astonishing ans mystique view that is once seen and cannot be forgotten forever. All roads to the fjords begin from a picturesque town that is located between seven mountains - Bergen.

From there is is really not so far to the largest fjord in Europe - Sognefjord. It cuts into the land for 204 kilometers and it's maximum depth is 1308 meters! The rocky shores of the majestic Sognefjord that hang over the water and head up to the sky to the height of 610 meters. You just understand that the human is not the owner of the world, but a tiny part of it, when you look at all these beauties.

The kingdom of trolls
The best place to enjoy the view over the fjords is from the sea in a sealiner cruise, ferry or even a viking ship! When you travel through the fjords, you feel yourself like in a magic world: Hardangerfjord that enchants with paradise gardens, Lysefjord that is famous for his vertical rock Prekestolen - a wide flat terrace that hangs over the bay with an astonishing view. And when you will see the small mountain villages that are located directly on the rocky slopes of the Geirangerfjord near the Seven Sisters waterfall, which waters fall directly into the bay, you will realize that this is the only place on the planet where the fairy tale trolls could live.

By the way, the Trolls' Road that gets up almost to 900 meters above the sea level with eleven sharp bends has been considered the most picturesque road in the world. And the Norway fjords are included in the UNESCO list of the world heritages. No wonder, because there is no another such place on the planet, where you could such a beautiful natural landscape and breathe with crystal clear air.
