Each year the popularity of real estate in Italy grows. This is linked with the fact that the real estate prices are quite low in such an interesting country. Many people are also attracted by the mild warm climate, wonderful cuisine and natural beauties of the country.

Calabria is a sunny peninsula with 800 kilometers of the shore that is washed by two seas - Ionian and Tyrrhenian - is the most southern of the 20 regions of Italy. This region combines beach rest during 9 months with snowy mountain slopes during three months. The capital of Calabria - Catansaro - is located at a beautiful plateau not far away from the Ionian sea coast.

White sandy beaches, purest sea water and ecology - all this attracts multiple tourists from the whole world. Various cultures are mixed up here with the views that have inspired lots of artists. Calabria is a modern region. The cost of the flights remains pretty low and the quality and convenience of the communications grows every year. There are two large airports in Calabria - Lametia Terme and Regio di Calabria. There are regular flights to Rome, Milan, Florence and Bergamo. The nearest international airport is in Neapol.

Calabria is a region of multiple cultures and traditions that are joined in a unique way of life, accentuating the properties of each of the cultures: ancient Green rituals, culture, language, literature and customs of Albanian dwellings. Calabria is rich with ancient historical heritages.

The Calabria cuisine is very diverse and is based upon various Mediterranean tastes. Like the whole Italy, Calabria loves home-made pasta with huge variety of sauces.

Till the recent time the Italian region of Calabria has been almost unknown and now it is one of the most promising direction in the world. The market attracts investors (the prices went up by 30% last year) as well as the tourists, because the Italian government allocates serious funds for the development of exactly this region.

There are various real estate offers at the market - from luxury villas and apartments on the shore, till the cozy houses in the mountains near the mountain resorts. This market is relatively young and therefore the prices are lower than in other districts of Italy and most of the European countries. This country also has no limits for the possession of the immobility by the non-residents of Italy. There are also no inheritance and wealth laws and the Italian banks offer credits for the real estate at the 4,5% yearly rate.
