More than a fourth - 26% of the citizens of 82 countries of the world are ready to immigrate. These are the results of the mass-poll of the Gallup agency. So, in fact, a fourth of the Earth population is displeased with their countries.

The share of the potential immigrants varies dramatically from country to country. Most of all are in Africa. The most powerful "baggage packing" moods are observed in Sierra-Leone, where 65% of the respondents are ready to get abroad. The same decision are ready to make more than a half of the citizens of Ghaiana (60%), Congo (59%), Ghana, Liberia and Nigeria (each 58%), Zimbabwe (57%), Dominican Republic (56%), Senegal (55%), Uganda, Malawi and Salvador (each 51%).

At the opposite pole there is Saudi Arabia, where only 1% of the respondents would leave it. There are extremely few potential immigrants in Australia, SAR and Thailand (each 8%), Indonesia, India and Laos (each 9%). Curious, but some of these countries are among the poorest countries in the world, for example Laos.

For the former Soviet states the situations is as follows: 34% are ready to leave Moldova, 28% - Azerbaijan, Georgia - 26%, Ukraine - 25%, Armenia - 23%, Lithuania - 22%, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Estonia - each 20%, Latvia - 19%, Russia - 17%, Kazakhstan - 13% and Tajikistan - 12%.

Just to compare - today there are 30% of potential immigrants in Iran, 27% in Great Britain and Germany, 20% in Israel, 18 % in France and 12% in Japan.

It is considered usually that the immigrants are young people that are interested in the improvement of their living level. The Gallup poll has confirmed this conclusion but has added that the immigration opportunity is more discussed by the people that already have relatives abroad.
