Another prohibition has been issued by the Chinese government for the locals before the Summer Olympic games. After the restrictions of the behavior on the roads and in public places, the Chinese have been also censored in their contacts with foreign visitors.

The propaganda department of the Dongcheng district, where the Forbidden city is located - the Emperor's palace that has a great demand among the tourists, has issued a circular, containing out of eight rules that should be obeyed by the Chinese while talking to the guests of the Olympics 2008. For example, the locals are prohibited to ask the foreigners about their age, monthly income, religion, family state, health, house or address, political opinion and sex.

The rules are placed at the bulletin boards all over the Peking center. According to the department representative, these measures should contribute to the "proper hospitality" that should be offered to the thousands of the watchers of the sportive contests. For the better effect, there were issued also a series of special etiquette guides in Peking, that remind that the locals should not spit, throw away garbage, push in crowds and speak loudly in public places.

The Olympics will take place from the 8-th till the 24-th of August and about 500 thousands of foreign guests are expected. China is getting prepared to the event already for a long time and with great effort. Earlier the locals were prohibited to drive cars in improper appearance, cook national dishes out of dogs, snakes and shark fins and also to grow rice near Peking. The violations should be prosecuted with fines. The taxi drivers have suffered most of all from these new rules. They have been prohibited not only to smoke in their cars, but also to sleep and to eat in the cars, what was a usual practice earlier. There were also some measures that have influenced the appearance of the policemen - they were prohibited to color their hair in unusual colors for a while.
