There are the resorts for animals which are symbolically called "paradise for pets" at the airports of Houston, Jacksonville and New Orleans. Similar services will appear in Charlotte, Northern Carolina, Atlanta, Georgia and Fort Lauderdale in the near future.
The headquarters of this "paradise" is located in Jacksonville. According to the words of Fred Goldsmith, the founder of this new resort, such new services at the airports give pleasure to animals and provide their owners with rest possibility.
Resorts work on a twenty-four hours basis. During absence of the owner they will take care about his pet here: pool in the form of a bone, artificial mud tanks, toys for every taste and the first class fod.
According to the data of the Ministry of transport, planes of American airlines transport about 2 million pets annually.
