How do you like the idea of celebrating the New Year underwater? No, we are not talking about diving. It is about total move under the water. Thousands of projects and plans propose to construct buildings not even on the islands but under water. All over the world, on Bali, in China, in Italy, there are underwater hotels under construction. Whereas, there is a hotel already built in the United Arab Emirates!

The first in the world underwater hotel Hydropolis has been opened for clients. The hotel was built in Dubai, near the one of the famous “palm” islands. The complex is situated 20 meters below Red sea level, near the coastline. The construction budget of this giant building is a little bit more than 600 million dollars.

This is a real underwater resort with 220 rooms. On the adjacent territory of 300 square meters there are malls, clubs, restaurants, cinema halls, and what is the most important – the brand new security system, after all, the visitors will be under water.

The underwater hotel offers its guests plenty of entertainments and places for leisure. The unique design emphasizes all the unusual structures, the predominant smooth lines, as if they were turned by the waves. Though, the roof seems to be the most interesting part – a special section drawing gives impression of the open-skies.
