Times Square was and remains a magnet for hundreds thousand New Year's jokers for about 100 years. If you are ready for one of the biggest and most famous parties of New Year's Eve, it means that you have to come here.

New Year's crystal sphere that is 2 meter in diameter and weighing 480 kilograms is lowered from a skyscraper. 40 masters assemble dazzlingly sparkling sphere that consists of 504 crystal triangles. Exactly at 23:59 it starts the descent accompanied by shouts of delight. Pushing one another, people begin to embrace, send greetings and to kiss, while the sphere is descending on the ground. Midnight comes and reckless crowd buzzes about coming of New Year. Yet, those, who see this not for the first time, say: "I wait for this moment all the year, and the second, when the sphere lights up over the Times Square, legitimates all expectations".

There are people everywhere from 43rd to 59th streets and from Broadway till 7th Avenue. The best views can be gained if you occupy a place along Broadway from 43rd to 59th streets and along 7th Avenue. Dress well and pull on the warmest socks! If you planned to get to somewhere else or to visit someone in this sublime night - forget about it. There is no transport in the whole district because the traffic is stopped here till 6 a.m.
